“Twix” Bark! (vegan, gluten free)

The easiest and most fun way to eat a Twix? Homemade, healthyish, and in bark form!

Save! Here’s how:

Ingredients
1.5C dark chocolate chips
2 tbsp refined coconut oil

Shortbread crumble
1/2C almond flour
1/4C tapioca starch
1 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp coconut sugar

Caramel
1/4C cashew butter
1/4C coconut milk, full fat
1/4C maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 365 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Combine crumble ingredients in a small bowl. Toast in oven for 8 min. Let cool. Break up large pieces with your hands.
2. While crumble is toasting, prepare caramel sauce over low heat in a saucepan, stirring until thick.
3. Heat and combine chocolate chips and coconut oil in microwave. Stir until smooth.
4. Pour a thin chocolate layer over parchment lined baking sheet. Spoon caramel sauce all over bark and swirl with a knife.
4. Add crumble.
5. Freeze to set.
