Local Mexican bakery keeps tradition of Pan de Muertos alive for Día de los Muertos celebrations

Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a time to honor and remember loved ones who've passed. The owner of the Mexican bakery La Loma who cooks Pan de Muertos, or "bread of the dead" described the time as a "party for the dead.”

The holiday is celebrated by Mexicans and some Latinos between the end of October and the beginning of November.
