In continued attempts to eat down the food storage before our move, today’s tip was brought to you by milk prices in California rising.

I have two cases of powdered milk with 12 sealed bags in each. Each bag makes 2 gallons of milk.

Typically my family of 10 goes through 8 gallons of milk a week and 1/2 gallon of almond milk. Powdered milk isn’t their favorite and so I predict they will drink less than 8 gallons this week (and future weeks if it continues to be over $5 a gallon).

It works great in cooking, baking, and if you eat a lot of cereal or make smoothies with milk.

Just remember these tips for best taste.
