Serves 4-5
Recipe in English:

Ingredients:
-Jau ka dalia (Barley Porridge) broken 100g
-Water as required
-Olper’s Milk 1 litre
-Darchini (Cinnamon) powder ¼ tsp
-Hari Elaichi (Green Cardamom) powder ½ tsp
-Olper’s Milk 1 Cup (optional)
-Honey 3-4 tbs
-Khajoor (Dates) deseeded & chopped 5-6
-Badam (Almond) sliced

Direction:
-In a bowl add barley and water. Then wash it thoroughly and strain.
-Add fresh water, cover & soak barley for 3-4 hours or overnight.
-In a cooking pot add milk, and bring it to boil.
-Now strain the soaked barley and add in boiling milk.
-Mix, half cover and cook on low flame for 30-40 minutes. Stir in between.
-Remove the cover, mix again, add cinnamon powder and green cardamom powder. Then mix it.
-If the consistency is thick, add milk again to maintain it.
-Cover & cook on low flame for 10-12 minutes.
-Turn off the flame,add honey & mix well.
-In a serving dish add talbina. Give a finishing touch with honey, dates, pistachios, and almonds.

Ajza:
-Jau ka dalia (Barley Porridge) broken 100g

-Olper’s Milk 1 Cup (optional)

Directions:
-Ek bowl mein jau ka dalia aur paani dalain. Phir achi tarah dhokar chaan lain.
-Taaza paani dalain, dhak kar 3-4 ghantay ya raat bhar bhigo dain.
-Ek cooking pot mein doodh dalain aur boil anay dain.
-Ab bhigoe hue jau ko chaan kar ubalte huay doodh mein daal dain.
-Mix karain, aadha dhak kar halki aanch par 30–40-minute pakain, beech beech mein chammach chalain.
-Dhakkan hata kar dobara mix karain, darchini powder aur hari ilaichi powder shamil karain, phir achi tarah mix karain.
-Agar mixture zyada ghara ho jaye, to thoda doodh aur dal kar consistency maintain karain.
-Halki aanch par 10-12 minutes aur pakaain.
-Chulha bund ker dein aur shehad dal kar mix karain.
-Serving dish mein talbina dalain aur upar se shehad, khajoor, pista aur badam se sajain.
