Quick Flank Steak Pho Recipe

Flank steak pho is quick, easy, and delicious!

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon oil
1 large onion, sliced
2 cinnamon sticks
2 star anise pods
2 tablespoons whole black peppercorns
1-inch piece ginger, sliced
3 cloves garlic, smashed
8 cups low-sodium beef broth
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 lbs rice stick noodles, cooked according to package directions
10 oz. Omaha Steaks Flank Steak, thawed & very thinly sliced
Bean sprouts, for serving
Lime wedges, for serving
Sliced jalapeno, for serving
Thai Basil, for serving
Sliced green onion, for serving

Directions:
1. To a large pot over medium heat add the oil, onion, cinnamon sticks, star anise pods, peppercorns, ginger & garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 5 minutes.
2. Add the beef broth, rice vinegar & honey. Bring to a gentle simmer & let cook for 30 minutes. Strain broth before serving.
3. When ready to serve, evenly divide the noodles amongst 4 serving bowls. Top with the flank steak & pour the hot broth over the flank steak. The broth will cook the flank steak.
4. Garnish with bean sprouts, lime wedges, jalapeno, thai basil & green onion.
