Lunch boxes are special. You send people your love with the food. I usually don’t pack a lunch meal package for my husband.
It is usually because he hardly stays at his office and also, he’s embarrassed that his colleagues will have to eat out. While he will be enjoying his meal relaxed at the office. He’s a pure soul like that.
Anyways thanks to the genius of recent technical and logistical development, I can easily surprise him with a meal whenever I want to. Especially on the days when it’s difficult for him to find a decent vegetarian meal. Today’s lunch box is packed with a weird combo, for the Bengalis. But thanks to my husband’s growing up in Varanasi, he devours Parantha and rice at the same time without blinking an eyelid. So, here is what I prepared, Spinach Parantha, with cauliflower potato bhaaji and Rice with Aloo posto. Weird, but heart filling.
