Note: vegetarian or vegan meal, completely omit the lamb, use olive oil in place of all the butter and enjoy a delicious traditional Lebanese Loubia Zaiat!
Loubia recipes
1 lamb leg from @saadwholesale 1 tbsp 7 spice or allspice- 1 tbsp salt- 1 tbsp pepper- 1 tbsp vegeta- 3 bay leaves
Season the lamb and bake in the oven at 375°F for about three hours, or until tender. Make sure to bake in a sealed deep sheet pan.
- 4 lbs green beans - 3 lbs ripe tomatoes- 3 chopped onions- 2 carrots- 1 jalapeño- 1 tbsp salt- 1 tbsp pepper- 1 tbsp vegeta- 1 cup @mina olive oil- 2 tbsp @mina harissa
Remove the lamb from the oven, peel if desired, and add the listed ingredients. Cook sealed for about one and a half hours, or until the veggies are tender. Remember to seal the baking tray.
- 1/2 cup chopped garlic- 1 cup chopped cilantro- 1/2 cup ghee or butter mixed with 2 tbsp corn oil
In a sauté pan, cook the garlic and cilantro until aromatic, about 3 to 5 minutes.
Once the green beans are fully cooked, shred the meat, remove the bone, add the garlic and cilantro mixture, mix well.
1 cup of jasmine rice- 2 cups of water or chicken stock- 2 tablespoons of butter- 1 teaspoon of seasoning- Fresh parsley
Instructions:1. In a medium saucepan, combine all the ingredients and bring the mixture to a boil.2. Once it reaches a boil, reduce the heat, cover, and let it simmer for about 7 to 10 minutes. When the liquid has been absorbed, turn off the heat and set the rice aside for 10 minutes before fluffing it with a fork.
