Portobello Steak & Ranch Salad



Portobello Steaks:
2- 4 portobello caps

Dry rub spicing:
1 tsp sage
½ tsp garlic granules
½ tsp onion granules
¼ tsp pepper
½ tsp paprika
1 tsp salt

Ranch Dressing:
½ cup hemp seeds
1 cup soaked cashews
¾ cup water
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic granules
1 tsp onion granules
2-3 tsp dried dill
1 soft medjool date

Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth.

Using pressing technique as shown in the video, prepare 2 large portobello caps.

Combine spices for dry rub. Once the portobello caps are cooked, rub on seasoning. Add back to the pan briefly, taking care not to burn spices.

Combine desired vegetables for salad. I used mixed greens, tomatoes, peppers, onions and kalamata olives.

Cut portobello steaks in strips.

Place on top of your salad.

Pour ranch dressing over top.
