This crispy tofu is perfect for a quick and delicious dinner or meal prep! I love the crispy edges and fluffy center. Here I coat it with my honey garlic sauce from my previous recipe video. Serve it with rice, noodles, or anything else you can imagine. It’s a great source of plant-based protein. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
-1 block extra firm tofu
-3 tbs neutral oil
-2 tbs cornstarch
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp pepper
-honey garlic sauce
-sesame seeds for garnish
-green onion for garnish
Instructions:
-drain the tofu from the package and wrap in a kitchen towel
-gently press the tofu and set aside in the towel for 20 minutes; you can add a heavy pan or textbook on top to press it further
-alternatively, you may use a tofu press
-cut the pressed tofu into 1/2” cubes
-add the tofu into a bowl and add oil, salt, pepper, and cornstarch
-mix it well with a spatula; roughen up the edges while mixing to create an even crispier texture
-air fry the tofu at 400F for 20-30 minutes until golden brown and crispy
-add into a mixing bowl and toss with sauce of your choice
-garnish with sesame seeds and green onion
-enjoy!
