Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups soaked* raw cashews
1 cup boiling water
1/3 cup nutritional yeast
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 1/2 tbsp hot sauce
juice of 1 lime
1 tsp salt
Serve with:
tortilla chips (I used @sietefoods dip chips)
Sliced tomato and jalapeño
pickled jalapeños
Directions:
Add the cashews with the water to a blender with a remainder of the queso ingredients and blend on high for 1 min
The queso is best served warm so I suggest serving pouring it into an oven-safe dish and keeping it warm until you’re ready to devour!
Serve with chopped cilantro, slices of pickled jalapeño, and tortilla chips
