Kazandibi Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1.5 liters of milk
- 75 g starch
- 50 g rice flour
- 375 g sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 10 g of vanilla
(for a 30x40 cm rectangular tray)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix the starch, rice flour, and 250 grams of milk.
2. In a medium-sized pot, bring the sugar, egg yolk, vanilla, and the remaining milk to a boil.
3. Slowly add the starch mixture to the boiling milk, cooking until it thickens.
4. Grease an aluminum tray with butter and sprinkle with powdered sugar, heating it on the stove until the sugar melts.
5. Pour one-third of the pudding into the tray and cook by rotating the tray until the bottom is dark brown. Ensure even cooking.
6. Then pour the remaining pudding into the tray and cook a bit more on medium heat, allowing the two layers to combine.
7. Remove from the heat and let it cool. After cooling, refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
8. Slice and roll as desired, then serve. Enjoy your meal.
