Broccoli stem salad✨
▪️2 Large Broccoli Stems(1+1/2 Cups after slicing)▪️2 tsp Soy Sauce▪️2 tsp Sesame Oil▪️1 Small Clove Garlic, grated or minced▪️2 tsp Distilled White Vinegar▪️1-2 tsp Sriracha▪️2 tsp Black Sesame Seeds▪️1/4 tsp Kosher Salt▪️1/4 tsp Sugar▪️
1️⃣ Pull off any sprouts on the stems and using a vegetable peeler, peel off the fibrous outer layer. Slice the broccoli stems into flat sheets, then slice the sheets into 2” batons.
2️⃣ Place the broccoli stems in a bowl and add the soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, white vinegar, sriracha, black sesame seeds, kosher salt, and sugar. Mix and adjust seasoning if desired. You can eat it right away or let marinate in the fridge for a few hours - enjoy!
