Pickled Onions Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons vinegar (white vinegar or apple cider vinegar)
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt, to taste
3/4 cup hot water
Instructions:
Peel the onion and thinly slice it.
In a clean jar, layer the sliced onion.
In a separate bowl, mix together vinegar, sugar, and salt until the sugar and salt dissolve.
Pour the vinegar mixture over the sliced onions in the jar.
Carefully pour hot water over the onions until they are completely covered.
