Our preference is to make this simple cultured cream cheese. This method doesn’t heat the milk keeping intact all of those beneficial bacteria and enzymes. However, it does require a few more ingredients (including rennet) and extra time for sitting.

The yield is greater and we prefer the taste and texture of this one a little bit better.
