Besan Chutney | Bombay Chutney | Side dish for Idly, dosai, poori, chapathi

How I made it?
1. Heat oil, splutter mustard seeds, urad dal, cumin seeds, channa dal, curry leaves, green chillies and ginger. Add asafoetida.
2. Once everything fried well, add chopped/sliced onion. Sauté well.
3. Add tomato and let it become mussy.
4. While the tomato is cooking, in a small bowl, mix besan with water. Make sure there are no lumps.
5. Add this mix to the kadai. Add turmeric and salt. Mix well until it becomes thick and started boiling.
6. Cover & simmer for few minutes until you get the desired consistency and there is no raw smell of besan.
7. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
